Whether you’re visiting the scenic Illinois River for the first time, or have gone rafting in Tahlequah several times already, it’s still the perfect place for a fun leisure trip any person should experience.
You can bring the whole family because this scenic river is safe for children and you can even take your dog. No float trip is complete without relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors on rafts with the whole gang here in Oklahoma.
All our rafts and equipment are regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure floaters are comfortable and safe throughout their Illinois River float trips.
The trip passes through the most beautiful Illinois River views and the less crowded spots, even during the weekends.
For long float trips, floaters should sign in at the office before 11 in the morning. Departure for the long float ceases at exactly 11 am. Please be on time for a fun experience and avoid hassles during your river float trip.

  5. Wait at the bus stop for your ride to the launch site
  6. You will finish your float at our landing which is adjacent to the float parking lot

Short Float on Weekdays

For only $80, you can enjoy rafting for two to four hours with a maximum of four people. Each raft can accommodate up to six adults. ($20 per person)

Long Float on Weekdays

For $88, you can enjoy rafting for four to eight hours with a maximum of four people. Each raft can accommodate up to six adults. ($22 per person)

Short Float on Weekend and Holidays

For $88, you can enjoy rafting for two to four hours with a maximum of four people. Each raft can accommodate up to six adults. ($22 per person)

Long Float on Weekends and Holidays

For $108, you can enjoy rafting for four to eight hours with a maximum of four people. Each raft can accommodate up to six adults. ($27 per person)

Rafting with Children

For only $10, children 11 and younger can enjoy rafting together with four fully paid adults.

Rafting with Dog

If you’re planning to tag your dog on your floating trip, you will pay a fee of $10. We allow only one dog per raft.

What to Bring

There are some important things you should bring on your river rafting trip to the Illinois River according to the Oklahoma Scenic River Commission.
Check current water conditions and bring the following items for ultimate safety during the kayaking and camping trip:
Every person is advised to wear a life jacket or personal floating device regardless of the water levels, especially for the children. No tying rafts, kayaks, or canoes are allowed during the Illinois River float trip.

Important Reminders

To avoid delays, make sure to arrive at our check-in desk 30 minutes early.
Floaters must be at our landing no later than 7 pm in the evening.
If you arrive later than 7 pm, you will have to pay a $50 late fee. Rafts that arrive at our landing after 8 pm will be fined a $100 late fee. Also, kindly keep in mind that only one 50-quart or smaller ice chest is allowed per raft.
Follow the check-in procedures to enjoy a smooth transaction starting from the float parking to the scenic highway launch site.

  1. Park at the office
  2. Sign in for your float at the office
  3. Proceed to float parking
  4. Gather in the shaded waiting area with your gear and wait for your name to be called to depart by bus. Do not wait at your vehicle, you may not be able to hear your name called. We load from the waiting area, NOT the parking lot.
  5. Our float parking is adjacent to our landing area. Simply walk to your vehicle upon completion of your float. There is NO bus ride at the end of your float.
